The Waves Sports Complex on Thabeban Street, Bundaberg is the home of Across the Waves Football Club.  All training and home games are held at the Complex with games played on Field 1 which is overlooked by the magnificent grand stand and Bar that offer the perfect place to view football.

Bundaberg Olympian and Commonwealth Games swimmer Michele Pearson has welcomed the opening of a new purpose-built female friendly $1.5 million sports facility at The Waves.

The facilities enable the use by both male and female participants, but add more privacy compared to previous changerooms.

The official opening took place this evening Thursday, 24 October, with The Waves president Gary Black saying the $1.5 million project, supported by a $500,000 State Government grant would further support and enable junior and senior women throughout the Wide Bay region to participate and thrive in a variety of outdoor sports.

Overall the Complex hosts Football. Rugby League and Rugby Union fields, cricket training nets, Bocce, two magnificent bowling greens as well as two tennis/netball courts.  There are also bar and canteen facilities. Many of the Sub Clubs of The Waves use the main bar and function area throughout the year.
