Pathway upgrades result in a high quality, robust and attractive pavement that improves pedestrian connectivity, safety and comfort. 

The infrastructure works are part of Bundaberg Regional Council's commitment to enhance livability and promote healthy and active lifestyles in the community. These pathways aim to connect the existing and future pathway network with:

  • important public infrastructure
  • educational establishments
  • commercial precincts
  • sport & recreational facilities
  • key employment centres
  • tourist facilities
  • future development areas

Construction of pathways are in areas including Bundaberg, Moore Park, Burnett Heads, Bargara, Innes Park, Coral Cove, Elliott Heads, Woodgate, Childers and Gin Gin.
